Omega lovers, this one just might be for you. For the first time, Omega Watches is launching an on-lline sale of a new watch that will only be sold on line. The Speedmaster “Speedy Tuesday” Limited Edition can be seen on the Omega instagram channel and on a dedicated page at Omegawatches.com. Just 2,012 models will be made and customers can reserve their very own– even specifying the number they want. But don’t get too excited; delivery isn’t until summer.
The new watch is inspired by the brand’s Speedmaster “Alaska Project III” watch that was created for NASA in 1978. Additionally, a host of other vintage influences are incorporated into the watch. The reverse side of the watch features the Seahorse logo, as well as the words SPEEDY TUESDAY ANNIVERSARY – A TRIBUTE TO ALASKA PROJECT III. The watch is being sold in a leather watch roll, complete with a spare NATO strap and strap-changing tool.
