German-made watches offers something truly unique when it comes to craftsmanship and history. The Saxon One Lady — named for the Saxony region of Germany where Tutima’s all-new state-of-the-art Manufacture is located — is powered by the 25-jewel Automatic Caliber Tutima 340 — with 42 hours of power reserve. The watch offers hours, minutes, sweep seconds and date display, and is water resistant to 10 ATM. A domed anti-reflective (on both sides) sapphire crystal protects the alluring dial and a see-through sapphire case back allows for viewing of the movement, complete with polished screws and meticulous finishing. Crafted in either stainless steel or in 18-karat rose gold, and available with or without a diamond set bezel (48 diamonds weighing 0.72 carats), the 36mm watch is offered with an exotic leather strap. I have to say that having had time to see, touch and feel this German-made watch — it has all the elements of a great timepiece for women: style, fit, mechanical movement, choice of colors and diamonds — it just doesn’t get much better. Best of all is the retail price: starting at $3,400 in stainless steel and going to approximately $13,900 for rose gold.
