We’ve written about Armin Strom before – and how this brand utilizes actual reconfigured auto racing parts on its Racing Tourbillon watch. Now, in honor of its third season as the official timing partner of the Marussia F1 Team, Armin Strom unveils the newest RACING TOURBILLON model – created in a limited edition of just two pieces. The distinctive red elox-coated and skeletonized bridges of the in-house manufactured ATC11-MR tourbillon movement consist of an aluminium alloy produced from components of an original Marussia F1 Team – F1 car. The exclusive RACING TOURBILLON watch, in the Marussia F1 Team red and black colors, becomes the sixth model in the Armin Strom Racing Collection. The 184-part manual-wind tourbillion timepiece features double spring barrels and offers 10 days of power reserve. The movement is housed in a titanium PVD black 43.40 mm case with anti-reflective sapphire crystal – to view those cool alloy parts made from the F1 car. It even retails for less than the car at a cool $129,000.
