We’ve written about Seah® watches before here. This is a young Swiss-made brand with roots in America. Founder and designer of the brand, Rachel Levy, brings together the concept of a truly personalized timepiece and astrology, whose roots are in astronomy. Each watch design recalls certain elements of the astrological world and enables the wearer to make his own personals statement about himself.
Now, Seah unveils its newest Astronomer timepiece. Swiss made with a Swiss movement, the 46mm watch is the only timepiece to feature the 12 Greek Zodiac signs on the dial – replacing the hour markers. The design is an extension of the brand’s patented Sun Collection. This line replaces the numeric dial with Greek zodiac signs.
Three new men’s models are available and each is water resistant to 10ATM. Versions — crafted in stainless steel – include a sleek black model with black lacquer dial; a white-dialed version; a deep midnight blue-dialed model. Each watch is equipped with a matching colored enamel rotating bezel with diamond dust textured detail at each hour marker. The rotating bezel of the watch can be turned so the star on the bezel points to the wearer’s astrological sign. Watches are offered with a steel bracelet (in some cases with color-coordinated links) and a color-coordinated hand-stitched Hirsch leather strap. Astronomer watches are fully patented with patent number and Seah sun logo embossed on each case back. By equipping the watches with a quartz movement, Seah offers an incredibly affordable retail price: $695.
I love this look, Rachel did it again with this new design,, the blue with gold accent is stunning!
