In New York the new Tourneau Concept Store opened recently, and with it comes the unveiling of the new Tourneau Watches – bold signature timepieces under the TNY Collection name – slated to make their official debut in September. TNY –for Tourneau New York – will be available at Tourneau stores nationwide and are designed by Marco Borraccino and produced in Switzerland. The collection is meant to reflect modern, urban living with clean lines, architectural influences and streamlined numerals. The look of the 12 models is consistent with over-sized two-layer dials, extra-slim bezels and an iconic Tourneau logo. The series includes a chronograph, a GMT and a hand-wind watch crafted in stainless steel, DLC, titanium and rose gold. Prices range from $1,100 to $9,800.
The collection is meant to complement the new concept store located at 510 Madison Avenue. The space was designed by the architectural firm Eight Inc, the architects behind the Apple brands. The more than 3,000-square foot store is designed to make watch shopping interactive through curated displays, educational tools and technological innovations. In addition to 30 exceptional brands that are presented there, the store boasts the first free-standing Rolex boutique. Definitely worth taking a look next time you’re in NYC.
Agreed, this Tourneau Concept Store is a wonderful change. The staff here was much more helpful and informative, especially contrasting my visit to the conventional Tourneau store nearby. Amy in particular was especially helpful in showing me hard to find watch complications that I've been wanting to see in person. The vast selections available inside the concept store is fantastic!
i will let tourneau know ….
