Beginning this Tuesday and running until February 28, the Doha Jewellery and Watch Expo is taking place in Qatar. We have attended this fair in the past, wherein we got to try on a 14-carat Harry Winston diamond ring, accompany a true watch collector on his receiving of an Opus watch from Harry Winston, and watch the unveiling of so many other watch and jewelry items. The Fair is not as large in scope of BaselWorld, but is as luxurious as the SIHH in Geneva and is extremely important for the Middle East Market. In attendance are a host of important independent companis, in addition to the big brands. From Rolex to Arnold & Son and a host of others, the Fair is one not to be missed. So, if you are in the Middle East this week – make this a must-see stop. Besides, this country is beautiful to experience in and of itself.
