Ok Super Bowl fans- get ready, in addition to some hopefully top-notch football plays, this year’s Super Bowl LI ushers in a first for Tiffany & Co.: The brand will air its first-ever Super Bowl commercial– starring Lady Gaga. Since Lady Gaga is performing at half-time as well (for free, we might add), the Tiffany & Co. 60-second commercial will air toward the end of the first half of the game. Lady Gaga teams with Tiffany & Co. to unveil the brand’s new HardWear jewelry line that is launching this spring.
The Tiffany HardWear collection consists of sterling silver and 18-karat gold jewelry, including necklaces, rings and earrings, inspired by a 1971 unisex ball-and-chain bracelet designed by the brand. The new commercial is part of the brand’s Legendary Style campaign that first aired two years ago, and that featured same-sex couples — another milestone for the brand. Tiffany & Co. has made the Super Bowl trophy every year for the past 50 years, so the tie-in today is particularly fitting.
