Year of the Dog watch by Zannetti features a hand-engraved and hand-painted dial.
In typical Zannetti style, the Rome-based watch brand unveils its newest timepiece, The Year of the Dog Scuba, taking a light-hearted approach. The dial of the watch — like so many of the brand’s best timepieces — is entirely hand painted. Instead of selecting a Chinese breed, or a serious life-like looking dog, Zannetti opted to go with a wonderfully inspiring bulldog.
Thanks to the playful, loyal spirit of the dog, Zannetti dedicates a dial full of joy in the new Scuba watch, which is part of the brand’s Piranha collection. The brand depicts the strong, strong but smiling dog in bright colors, destined to give a moment of good humor every time one glances at the wrist. The dial is completely engraved and decorated by hand on a corozo surface using a natural plant-based material perfect for micro-engravings. Each dials is then hand painted using polychrome enamels — making each watch unique. The 41mm automatic watch is equipped with a helium valve for diving, and has a unidirectional bezel. The hands are Zannetti hands with SuperLuminova. The sapphire crystal features a double antireflective treatment and a secret signature.
