Blancpain‘s Saint-Valentin 2013 model with its colors and gemstones inspired by the universal symbols of love features a flurry of hearts, together with a subtle play on textures and shapes. The white mother-of-pearl dial is enhanced by diamond hour-markers and five red-lacquered mother-of-pearl marquetry hearts. The 34 mm steel case features a bezel set with two rows of full cut-diamonds. The case side, at 9:00, is adorned with five liquid ceramic hearts. This technique calls for meticulous application of the liquid matter prior to a firing process that solidifies it. This three-hand model is equipped with a mechanical self-winding Caliber 1150 endowed with 100 hours of power reserve. The white strap is ostrich leather. The Saint-Valentin 2013 model is issued in a 99-piece limited edition. Each watch retails for $21,200.
