Dive watches were an impressive category at this year’s BaselWorld, and Tutima did it’s part to demonstrate the importance of rugged, durable timepieces that also have a lot to offer in the looks department. With the brand’s new M2Seven Seas high-performance watch, professionals and amateurs have new options at affordable prices.
The three-hand self-winding watch offers date and day of week function and is extremely shock- and water-resistant. Part of the brand’s Military collection, the M2 Seven Seas is crafted in titanium and houses the T330 mechanic movement with Tutima rotor in antique gray with 750 gold seal. The watch offers 38 hours of power reserve.
Between the rugged 44mm titanium case, 3mm-thick sapphire crystal, screwed crown and screwed back, the Seven Seas withstands pressure up to 50 bar. Adding to the watch’s extreme underwater capabilities, it features antireflective sapphire crystals, a one-way rotating bezel with luminous marking point and comes with either a study titanium bracelet or Kevlar strap with inner seam in either black or blue to match the dial colors of black or blue with SuperLumiNova indices. The best part of the watch is yet to come: price. On a strap it retails for $2,100 and on titanium bracelet, the German-made Seven Seas retails for $2500.
