Swiss watch brand, Armin Strom, along with its Cyprus-based partner, Cases & Dials, unveils a special edition of five skeleton watches in a carbon case. Each of the Skeleton Pure Carbon watches houses the same movement, but each is accented with a different bold color, including orange, yellow, green, red and blue, for the numerals and certain parts.

Cases & Dials owner, Rois Nicolaides and his son Jon Nicolaides are passionate about high-tech and sports watches, so this collaboration is a great blend. Each of the carbon cases has features textured shades of grey and black. The cases are molded under high temperature and pressure that leads to a unique pattern for each high-performance case.
The Skeleton Carbon watch eliminates anything extraneous from the fully open-worked movement run an effort to reveal the caliber in all its glory. Thanks to the intricate three-dimensional architecture of the movement, along with the 3D-PVD coating of the main plate and the sapphire dial, these watches offer stealth appeal with great depth and dimension.

Like all Armin Strom movements, the hand-wound calibre ARM09-S that is housed in the Skeleton Carbon watches is entirely designed, developed and manufactured in-house. Thanks to twin barrels, the watch boasts 8 days of power reserve. It displays hours, minutes, coaxial indication of the small seconds, and power reserve at 9 o’clock. Each watch is finished with a black horn-back straight-cut alligator strap with color-coordinated stitching. Each watch is also delivered with complimentary rubber and Velcro straps. Each watch retails for $42,000.
