Celebrating 250 years of heritage, Arnold & Son continues to demonstrate its technical prowess and top-quality Swiss craftsmanship. The limited edition DSTB (Dial Side True Beat) is a grand example of the brand’s British-inspired history and its haute horology vision. The DSTB is part of the brand’s Instrument Collection and the newly developed automatic movement showcases the True Beat seconds’ mechanism (lever, wheels and seconds bridges) entirely on the dial side. Making the watch even more alluring is the fact that the True Beat seconds lever is shaped like an anchor – paying homage to Arnold’s maritime achievements.
A large sapphire dial occupies the top left portion of the dial at 11:00, whilte the hours and minutes are indicated via a white lacquered dial at 4:00. These overlapping indications exude generous proportions and translate to a stunning three-dimensional dial presentation.TThe self-winding movement is the Caliber A&S 6003 with ceramic ball bearings features hand-chamfered and satin-finished lever and bridges, polished edges and fine circular graining and Côtes de Genève rayonnantes. Thevisible dial plate is NAC grey treated with large circular finishing, and blued screws with beveled and mirror-polished heads. The caliber is housed inside a 43.5mm 18-karat rose gold case. Just 50 pieces of the DSTB will be made – underscoring the brand’s commitment to exclusivity and excellence.
