As we mentioned here at ATimelyPerpsective just a week ago, the year 2011 marks the 80th anniversary of the celebrated Reverso. With that in mind, the brand has established the concept of sharing Reverso stories, both past, present and future, via an all new Virtual Museum. Visit the museum by clicking here: http://reverso.jaeger-lecoultre.com/en
The brand believes that by personalizing a Reverso, each owner adds a new line to the legends in time. As such, the brand invites owners of Reversos to tell their stories and exhibit their Reverso in rooms in the Virtual Museum. You must first register your Reverso before the museum curator will exhibit it. Among those already in the Virtual Museum: King Edward VIII of England (1930’s), who had his family crest designed on the Reverso; an English gentleman who had a select British Racing Driver’s Club emblem engraved on his Reverso; a Gurkha soldier’s Reverso with a Rifle on it. Not just engraving watches, Reverso owners are personalizing their statements of life on a timepiece that should bear witness to emotions and dreams. Jaeger-LeCoultre hopes to share that. To log in to see the fullest Reverso collection ever seen on line, register with LeClub, the Jaeger-LeCoultre community dedicated to fans of the brand. You will find the link on the virtual museum page. Enjoy the visit.
