Die-Hard Corum Bubble lovers rejoice — especially Bubble lovers who also enjoy high-jeweled beauty. This year at BaselWorld, Corum indulges our senses — bringing the much-coveted vintage timepiece to fruition in surprising avant-garde style with the must-see Bubble High Jewelry Skeleton watch. Created in three different versions, each with an open-worked ultra-thin movement, these one-of-a-kind pieces are magnificently set with rubies, blue sapphires, black sapphires and diamonds.
The Bubble was first introduced in 2000, and the three unique pieces being unveiled here at BaselWorld 2016 mark the return of the beloved icon. Each watch features baguette-cut diamonds and gemstone hour markers, all set by hand to the tune of several hundred hours of handwork. Additionally, each timepiece is set wit h131 brilliant-cut diamonds on the dial, and 42 on the bezel for a total of 5.7 carats. Powered by the CO 0555 mechanical caliber, the watches are entirely executed by hand.
