Breitling PREMIER B01 CHRONOGRAPH 42 NORTON EDITION
Earlier this week in New York, Breitling celebrated the arrival of the all-new Breitling Premier Norton Edition watch at an exclusive event in New York. Also present were Breitling’s “Cinema Squad” member Adam Driver, Norton Motorcycles CEO Stuart Garner, and Breitling USA President Thierry Prissert.They even brought in — for the first time in the U.S.A. — the Norton Commando 961 Café Racer MKII Breitling Limited Edition Motorcycle.
The new Breitling Premier B01 CHRONOGRAPH 42 NORTON EDITION in stainless steel
The Breitling Premier Norton Edition is the first piece in the newly formed partnership between the Swiss watch brand and the iconic British motorcycle brand. The bold and beautiful 42mm stainless-steel case is distinctive thanks to the black dial with gold numerals and hands, as well as the “Norton” logo engraved on a plate on the left side of the case. Even the transparent caseback features a printed Norton motorcycle and logo.It is nicely paired with a vintage inspired brown raw-leather strap. There is also a steel bracelet for those who prefer more heavy metal. The chronograph watch offers minutes and hours as well as central seconds. It is powered by the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01 with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The COSC-certified chronometer features a black tachymeter scale on a white inner bezel around the dial.
Breitling also designed the dials of the tachymeter and speedometer on the new Norton motorcycle.
Also for the first time, as mentioned, the brands brought to America the Norton Commando 961 Café Racer MKII Breitling Limited Edition Motorcycle that recalls the classic appearance of the great old-style café racers but with modern state-of-the-art components and engineering. Its 961cc engine was developed in-house by Norton and just 77 motorcycles will be made. A vintage Breitling “B” is engraved on the clutch box, and Breitling designed the speedometer and tachometer gauge dials.
