This holiday season, if you are looking for a cool mix of serious and fun – not to mention a timeless gift – take a close look at the Ritmo Mundo Puzzle watch. The puzzle reverses the role of the traditional watch. Whereas, the objective of most watches is to see the time at a glance, the idea behind the Puzzle is to hide the time and offer the wearer a bit of whimsy. The dial isn’t seen until the wearer slides the puzzle top to the side to reveal the time.
T
he puzzle is based on a child’s small toy, wherein square tiles move from side to side and up and down to put them in a certain order. The puzzle on the watch has 9 actual moveable square pieces that –depending on where they are placed – allow a different portion of the watch dial to be revealed.
The interactive watch is powered by a Swiss SW 200 automatic movement and is offered in two case sizes in either stainless steel or in black PVD. Five different dial colors are offered. Water resistant to 10ATM, telling time – and not telling time – has never been such fun. The watch retails from between $3,500 and $5,550 depending on the model.
