We love HYT watches. It’s that simple – except they are anything but simple. HYT watches are all about hydro-mechanics – the blending of fluid and mechanical precision for unrivaled innovation in timekeeping indication. This brand — the brainchild of Vincent Perriard, watch veteran – is now in its first full year of watch production. Sure, it’s been around a couple of years, but only in its infancy, as it made advances, fine-tuned and tweaked some aspects and developed additional colors and materials.
Now, the brand is in full production mode. Recently,HYT exhibited at TimeCrafters 2014 in New York, where it officially unveiled what I refer to as the Snow White watch— though its real name is Iceberg — with white metal, white dial, white strap and sky blue fluid to indicate time. Superb. The blue fluid in this watch took 18 months to develop. While the watch may look large, it fits incredibly well and is super comfortable on the wrist. It’s easy to use and so much fun to play with — it was sinful to have to take it off my wrist. Just 50 of this Iceberg beauty will ever be made, each retailing for about $60,000. But, the fun isn’t over… the brand has one more trick up its proverbial sleeve – slated to make its debut later this year. Meanwhile, enjoy a slide show below of the new HYT H1 Iceberg watch, and a few others of the colorful new versions.
