Longines Flagship Heritage by Kate Winslet

The Longines Flagship Heritage by Kate Winslet watch was made in a limited edition of five pieces, with three currently being auctioned on line.

From now until June 30, customers can bid on line to purchase one of three identical Longines Flagship Heritage by Kate Winslet watches — with all proceeds going to The Golden Hat Foundation, a charity co-founded by the award-winning actress. Winslet, a Longines Ambassador of Elegance, is, of course, the stunning and talented British actress who has starred in so many movies — including the famed Titanic — that it is difficult to keep track.

The 18-karat gold automatic watch she designed uses the brand’s Flagship Heritage dial that she saw while touring the brand’s factory and museum in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, last year. The Flagship Heritage was first unveiled in 1957 and is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year with several new pieces. However, the “by Kate Winslet” watch is totally different. Just five were made, with the first going to the Longines museum and the fifth going to Winslet. The second, third and fourth — all numbered and bearing Winslet’s signature on the case back — are being auctioned starting at $25,000 and going up in increments of $500.
