Ok, we have written about Linde Werdelin here before. This is a wild and crazy luxury Swiss watch brand that departs from luxury not in the sense of materials or craftsmanship, but in the sense of reality. The brand is bold and creates equally as bold timepieces. The newest one on the market: the Oktopus Double Date Carbon Green.
A diving watch, the immediately identifiable timepiece is individually crafted in a landmark green case – thanks to new 3DTP ™ (3 Dimensional Thin Ply) technology. This is a proprietary process of sculpting micro-fibers of carbon into the angular Oktopus case. The method offers finely grooved facets and dramatic detail. The watch is so intriguing that while it is a dive watch with water resistance to 300 meters – it is a smashing hit on the wrist with a suit!
The bold green carbon is accented with a black ceramic bezel and TIN treated titanium crown and titanium screws that also offer depth and drama. The watch houses a skeletonized double date wheel produced by Dubois De’praz. Just 88 pieces will be made, each retailing for approximately $14,000.
Beautiful. Three things I like, ceramic, carbon fiber, and diving.
