It’s no secret that I get around. As a veteran journalist in the watch industry, my job is to go where the stories are. I can’t go to everything, but I try to say yes to al least half of the trips i am offered annually, and I always go to the important shows. Such is the case with the recent second-annual Watches & Wonders Miami that just took place in the Miami Design District. Organized by the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH) and the Miami Design District Associates (MDDA), the show brings together the best luxury watches and jewelry on the market. It does so concurrently with the Miami Boat Show and the Concours — making it a sun-filled, fun-filled weekend of indulging in luxury. Here, we bring you a photo gallery review of the watches, and the wonders we witnessed in sunny Miami during what is proving to be one of the most successful watch events of the year. We will also continue to bring you coverage in the ensuring months, especially of some of the intriguing new products unveiled there and of the interesting panel discussions that took place.
