This 41mm 18-karat white gold watch with rich slate-gray dial is absolutely beguiling thanks to the new aesthetics of the calendar indications and the moon phase display. The watch is equipped with the in-house-made Vacheron Constantin mechanical self-winding Calibre 2460 QCL/1 with triple calendar — day, date and month — apertures and a highly precise moon phase indication that shows the age of the moon.The complicated caliber boasts 308 components, each meticulously finished so that the watch carries the coveted Hallmark of Geneva Seal. It is chocked with 40 hours of power reserve. The new caliber is an evolution of the brand’s Caliber 2450 self-winding movement.

A tour around the dial shows the day and month via apertures on the outer rim at 9:00 and 3:00 respectively, while the date is indicated by a central crescent-shaped hand. The moonphase occupies the space above 6:00 on the dial. The dial is at once elegant and refined thanks to stick markers and Dauphine-style hands. It is easy to read the triple calendar functions and gazing at the moonphase is super easy on the eyes. Additionally, the moonphase is so precise that it will not need a correction for 122 years.
This new white gold version complements the existing 18-karat pink gold Traditionnelle complete calendar watch. Thanks to a transparent sapphire case back, wearers and collector friends can view the exceptional movement, with 22K gold openworked oscillating weight inspired by the Maison’s Maltese cross emblem.
