Today is Earth Day, a great time to celebrate the bounties of our planet, and to consider conserving and preserving them. That is exactly what Hublot is doing with its Black Jaguar White Tiger Foundation association. The Foundation is responsible for preserving multiple big cat species, in order to transmit a message of care and respect to all of those living creatures in our world.
BJWT is based on the values of preservation, care and rehabilitation of species to their natural habitat. The sanctuary in Mexico currently has more than 240 animals that receive daily specialized care, which include open living spaces similar to their natural habitat, food, medical care and a decent life complemented with love.
Hublot will have multiple activities and special edition watches to help with the cause. The first such timepieces are the Hublot Big Bang Black Jaguar White Tiger Foundation watches, made in a limited edition of three pieces, one each in steel, gold and black. Inspired by felines for the large cat wildlife sanctuary, the watches will benefit the cause, with a portion of the proceeds of sales going to the charity. Thus far the brand has raised more than a quarter of a million dollars for the cause since announcing this less than six months ago.
