Louis Moinet Derrick Tourbillon
Part of the Treasures of the World collection, the new Derrick Tourbillon from Louis Moinet is an unprecedented piece – complete with a moving, replicated oil derrick on its dial. Essentially, above the tourbillon at 6:00, is an animated pumping oil derrick – made of aluminum to reduce the weight. The derrick is strictly decorative and was developed in conjunction with Concepto. The watch is being created in a limited edition of 12 pieces. Crafted in 18-karat white gold, it retails for approximately $300,000.
