Typically, when posting about a women’s watch, I would say “Move over, men. This one is for the women.” However, in this case, I will say “Read On Men; there’s something here for you too.” In fact, in addition to this incredible red hot new watch unveiled by Jaeger-LeCoultre, the brand has also implemented a red hot Care Program designed for customers who are looking for more than just a watch. More on that below, but for now we take a look at why and how Jaeger-LeCoultre is seeing red: the new Dazzling Rendez-Vous Red Recently unveiled at the Shanghai International Film Festival, it complements the brands newest Rendez-Vous Night and Day watches.
Because red is the color of passion, energy, good fortune and wisdom, it is one of the hottest colors in any wardrobe. It is especially intense in the form of the Rendez-Vous Night and Day — bedecked with rich red rubies in a fantastic prong setting that allows light in from all directions. Each of the 36 rubies is held in place by tiny gold spikes. Master gem-setters at Jaeger-LeCoultre spend hours meticulously positioning the stones one by one in a high mounting that allows maximum light to pass through the stones from all angles. Exactly 72 brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel enhance the ruby delight. Another 47 diamonds are set on an inner ring.
Via an opening at 6:00 on the dial, a crescent moon alternates with the sun to showcase night and day indications. The watch is powered by the Calibre 898B/1 self-winding mechanical movement entirely developed and produced within the Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture and visible via a transparent sapphire case back. The 18-karat pink gold 36mm watch is finished with a ruby red alligator strap with shiny finish. Just eight pieces will be made.
Red Hot Care Program
While the new red timepiece is hot, Jaeger-LeCoultre has also implemented a hot new watch Care Program that carries a massive eight-year warranty. The Care Program consists of a rich digital platform that is dedicated to its customers and that consists of technical content, educational content and value-added information. It also offers advice and services, as well as an 8-year International Limited Warranty for all of its clocks and watches.
The concept is designed to foster a stronger relationship with customers. They can register their Jaeger-LeCoultre clocks and watches on a dedicated online platform that enables them to manage their personal collection and benefit from the brand’s new services. Additionally, watches and clocks already purchased and covered under the original International limited warranty are eligible for the warranty extension upon online registration for the program. Following registration, customers will receive personalized services that include value-added services for maintenance of the watch, functional checks, engraving, etc. when going into Jaeger-LeCoultre boutiques.
The service integrates the “WeChat” platform and is offered on line in 12 languages (English, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Russian, simplified and traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean).
